Kobe Bryant, My Reebok Tennis Shoes Need You

Kobe Bryant, if anybody can help me it's you. I have to admit, I am pretty impressed that Nike asks Kobe Bryant what he wants in a tennis shoe. If you look in my closet, there are more Reebok shoe boxes than any other brand. This is because Reebok is the shoe for me. But I need one little adjustment to my Reebok's.

I'm thinking Kobe Bryant can help me out. I tell Kobe what I want and Kobe tells the tennis shoe manufacturers. It's simple, right?

My feet are hard to fit. My heel is 4A but that's not the only problem. I can't stand anything rubbing or squeezing my toes. I mean anything. I have purchased shoes that barely touch my toes thinking they will stretch only to end up throwing them away.

Reebok is the only shoe that is comfortable to my toes and this has been true for years. I try other brands but none of them work for me. I love my Reebok's but one other little improvement would make them a perfect fit. Kobe Bryant, this is where you come in. Read on to find out why my tennis shoes need you.

Reebok Review: DMX Technology

Rebook developed what is called DMX Technology. Now they advertise Smooth Fit too. It seems to me Smooth Fit is a seamless shoe with DMX Technology. DMX Technology was developed in about 2002 to provide load distribution. This is basically a "two pod" system with a pocket of air distributed throughout the shoe. The idea is that of walking on air.

These shoes are ideal for the neutral foot type and can also be worn by the over and under pronators. Over-pronation is what I watch out for in my aerobic work-outs which last at least one hour daily. My foot always feels light and comfortable because the shoe fits my toes so well. And I only use touch-up polish about every six months to keep them looking good too.

Reebok Website: Customize Your Tennis Shoes

One of the great things with Reebok is that you can customize your own shoe. Just go to their website and a template pops up. Choose options presented to you such as a choice of colors, where to place them on the shoe and logos which you can create yourself. I may use Kobe Bryant 24 for a logo. KB24 sounds good, right?

The only thing I didn't find in their custom design is the ability to adjust the heel fit. This would be nice because I just ignore that problem. If my toes are comfortable then I can live with the rest of it. My heel slides, especially my left heel but I just put up with it. After all, how many 4A heels are out there?

This reminds me.........Kobe........Kobe Bryant. I need your help. Since Nike asks you what features you want in tennis shoes, how about suggesting some kind of customized heel fit? I'm thinking memory foam padding. Doesn't that sound great? I know you're interested in the heel. You had plantar fasciitis so you know the heel needs love and attention. And I love my Reebok's, I just need a little tighter heel.

So, have your people contact my people. We'll get together and figure it out. I'll pencil you in Kobe Bryant. It must be great to tell the companies what you want in a tennis shoe. Oh, and I like the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Black Mambas. Way to go with letting the elementary students design the colors for it Kobe Bryant.
