Kobe Bryant Wishes for Trade on Website

The All-Star Wants Out of LA

The Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, Kobe Bryant, implied again that he wants to be traded. On his website kb24.com, he made a statement which said, that "the Lakers and me just have two different visions for the future."

This isn't the first instance of Bryant wanting to depart from the Lakers organization. Over the previous months the NBA All-Star has teeter-tottered back in forth with his intentions with the team.

Bryant continued to say, "When you love something as much as I love the Lakers its hard to even imagine thinking about being elsewhere. But, the one thing I will never sacrifice when it comes to basketball is winning."

With 4 solid years left on his contact, Bryant would appear to be stuck in L.A. Within contract it states Kobe could terminate his position with the team after the 2008-2009 NBA season.

The nine-time All Star, stated frustration with the team over the last few months of the NBA playoffs. After being eliminated by the Phoenix Suns, Bryant seemed to vent more trade comments out to the media.

Aggravated with the lack of surrounding key players is the main point Bryant is making.

The 28 yr old star claims that the Lakers aren't providing him with the players needed to win a championship.

On his website he wrote, "The Lakers are pursuing a longer-term plan that is different from what Dr. Buss shared with me at the time I re-signed as a free agent. That has led to the Lakers not winning a playoff series."

The Lakers owner and spokesman have declined comment on the events as of late. Two weeks ago, the Lakers issued a comment saying, "We will continue to pursue every avenue possible to improve our team with him as the cornerstone."

If the self-proclaimed 'Black Mamba' decides to leave the Los Angeles Lakers the team will be left with no solid star player. It will be interesting to see what teams will pursue such a player. Bryant will demand a large income that will put most teams back on their salary caps.

The 20 year veteran might not mesh with other competitive teams with current All-Stars. The Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony experiment is still currently underway. It will be interesting to see Bryant wearing other than the famous purple and gold jersey.

Kobe Bryant's website is http://kb24.com. The site puts out statistics, current news, fan forums, an interactive store with signed merchandise, camps, and video and photos of the Laker superstar.

This has been one of the biggest nightmares in sports history. This guy had a chance to set records as a teammate with Shaq and would have probably eclipsed Jordan as the greatest player ever. I won't even watch this guy anymore because he believes he is bigger than the game. Any team that goes after him is just asking for trouble.
