Kobe Steak House and Sushi Bar is a teppanyaki style restaurant which means they will cook your dinner right before your eyes. This restaurant not only has a great Teppanaki selection but also a great sushi menu. Their sushi menu is like no other I have ever seen. They have specialty rolls like the Mexican, which is tempura shrimp, avacodo, tomato and spicy cream. Another of my favorite rolls is the Japanese Bagel it has cream cheese, smoked salmon and is wrapped in cucumber. These are both great pieces of sushi and they have the traditional rolls like the California roll.
The prices and portions are average during regular hours. Their sushi rolls are pieces of six per serving and the prices range from around $4 to $10. The best deals can be found during their happy hour. You can get great deals, not only on alcohol but also great discounts on sushi. They have sushi rolls for around $3 and drinks are also discounted. They have an early happy hour at 5pm till 7pm but we prefer the 9pm happy hour which goes till closing.
This is a great place for kids though I would suggest that you go early with children as it can get crowded. You can also call ahead and make reservations, which is very important if you are with a group of 6 or more. The atmosphere in this restaurant is really nice. It is full of Japanese style décor. The restaurant is filled with hibachi tables which generally seat ten. There is a sushi bar there and also a bar that you can enjoy a drink at while you wait to be seated. You can also order sushi at the hibachi tables along as part of your party is ordering from the teppanyaki menu.
This is a great place to stop in for a little sushi or steak which ever you prefer. I would say this is the best sushi bar in Orlando. They have an excellent sushi selection and great prices too. It has something for everyone. It is a great place to meet up with a group and have a great time. It is also a great way to meet new people and have interesting conversations while you dine.
