This entire park is kid-friendly. From the lifeguards that walk around the pools, to the lifeguards at every station there are always going to be adult eyes on your little ones. There is an aquatic jungle gym in the middle of a pool that is around 10 to 12 inches deep. This jungle gym has on and off valves that kids can play with, ropes to pull so you get wet, a tire swing, and a little water slide. You can also walk on over to the kids sized water slides, there are two. One is a little smaller than the other and both are about 7 feet across. These slides go right down into the 10-12 inch pool so your kids will not get their faces full of water. The pool does gradually deepen but has a rope between where the shallow part is and the deep part begins.
Looking to just relax? Try the lazy river. Carry your child on your lap or get them their own inner tube and float along. There are about 7 lifeguards around the river watching the children at all times. The lazy river goes all the way around the water park.
There are large water slides for the older children and adults looking for extra fun. However, these slides are off to the side of the park. The main focus of Koch Park Family Aquatic Center is children. There is also a tire walk for older children that is a lot of enjoyment.
Lounge chairs are provided by the park. Some chairs in shaded areas and other chairs in sunny areas. So you can have your pick of where you want to sit.
Feel free to bring arm floaters for your kids and blow up toys for the babies who cannot swim yet to laze around the water in.
There is a snack food place that sells anything from pretzels to popcorn. You can rent lockers to keep your stuff in and if you want a summer full of fun you can get a season pass. Pool hours are Monday - Friday 12:30 - 7:30 pm and Saturday - Sunday - Holidays12:30 - 5 pm. The park is located at 305 Howdershell, Florissant, Missouri 63031. Call ahead if you have any questions before visiting the pool. There phone number is 1-314-839-7686.

Hey i was just wondering some of my friends said you had to be 14 to work at koch park and others say 16. What is the actual age?
I just to thank everyone at Koch Water Park: from the folks at the check-in gate, snack bar, to the lifeguards for their care in keeping everybody safe.
I know it must get boring just sitting @ check in desk, or at lifeguard posts. THANKS SO MUCH!
