With 10.3 mega pixels the Kodak EasyShare camera will be sure to please. It has a 2.4 inch LCD display screen. The camera is compact and only weighs around 5 oz. This makes it easy for you to carry around.
The features are limited but I've found the ones it does have to be very useful. You can edit a picture which consists of rotating the picture, using perfect touch tech, or you can crop. There is no removing red eye function which is one thing I wish it did. Of course it has the different shooting programs (motion, distant scenery, up close, video, etc.)
It does record video and sound. One thing to take note of is that when watching the video on the camera there is no sound.Only when you watch your video on the computer or wherever then there is audio. When recording a video you can use frames of the video to use as pictures. I really like that feature.
You can chose to take pictures in color, black and white, or sepia. There is a face detect capture feature which helps the camera recognize the person(s) in the picture. A timer on the camera can be useful if you want to put the camera down and be in the picture.
The camera uses a SD card for memory. The cameras internal memory is very small, only about 16mb. That's about 6 pictures but most people use SD cards anyways so it's not that big of a deal. Another drawback for me is that it only takes batteries, 2 AA. I personally prefer a camera that can be charged. Again not that big of a deal I bought some rechargable batteries and I just recharge them.
The camera is very easy to use. It has taken some great pictures. I will continue to use this camera and recommend the Kodak brand digital cameras to everyone. If you are wanting great looking photographs and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, I highly recommend the Kodak EasyShare CD1013.
