The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 digital camera has a 12 Megapixel resolution with a 5x optical zoom lens. It is capable of capturing high-resolution shots. This digital camera has a starting price of $249.00. I purchased mine for less than $200 as a today's special value on QVC.
This Kodak digital camera comes with a manual, wrist strap, software CD, the EasyShare dock insert for Kodak printers, 2 AA batteries and a USB cable. You also get the custom camera insert to use with the Kodak EasyShare camera and printer docks. The camera and printer dock are sold separately.
On the top of the camera is the dial button, which is what you use to change modes. On the other side of the dial button is the on/off button, and timer and zoom buttons. This camera has 64MBs of internal memory. I would recommend getting a 1 GB SD card also. The weight of the camera without the batteries and media card is 5.7 oz. The size of the camera is 3.5"x2.5"x1.2".
My favorite feature by far is the panorama mode. It is simple to paste a few pictures together to create one wide panoramic image.
Some of the Features provided on the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 include:
* 12 megapixels
* 5X Optical Zoom Lens
* Kodak Perfect Touch
* 2.5 in. High-resolution wide angle color display
* Digital image stabilization
* 21 scene / 5 color modes / Smart scene mode
* Panorama stitch mode
* 64MB Internal Memory
* SDHC Card Expansion Slot
* HD Video 720i at 30 fps
* Program and Manual Modes
* Kodak color science chip
* Flash Mode / Auto / Red-eye reduction
There are two negatives that I have with this camera. The first is that there is not a viewfinder. The screen is hard to see in bright sunlight. The second is it does not come with rechargeable batteries. The non-rechargeable Kodak AA batteries that come with the camera do not last long.
The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 digital camera is a compact, great all around, easy to handle and use camera that should satisfy the average user.
