Number one they have 99 cent standard shipping on everything in women's, men's, juniors, kids, jewelry and shoes. And they have a pretty decent clearance area. This is excellent when you consider they have fashionable shirts for under $5! You can easily treat yourself once a month to a $100 shopping spree there and get lots of things and pay very little for shipping.
Unlike the clearance rack at the actual department store--which has great prices, but is always in complete disarray. You can sort through clothing quickly and easily. The prices are great for the clothes they have available in clearance. Everything is seasonal and attractive. Nothing is really too much out of date.
The accessories section was a little sparse the last time I checked. But the fun thing is that I really get that department store feeling at "$10 Store" prices and from the comfort of my own home.
Some of the sections don't have that many items, but the sections that seem to have the most selection consistently are women's: coordinates, tops, and petites.
The junior section has a cool amount of trendy clothes at really good prices. Your daughter can actually do some damage with her allowance. The men's athletic apparel section is pretty full of comfy team tees and cotton separates. And the big and tall section has great prices that we all know are hard to come by for big and tall clothes. Kids clothes are cheap and cute. And there's a moderate selection throughout the different departments. And ladies shoes are very stylish and mostly priced under $15. There's not a lot though, but enough to pay attention. I didn't see any men's or children's shoes.
The jewelry and home sections had practically nothing, some washcloths for $1.50 etc. But, this is only since I've been looking at the site. Maybe this changes over time. For the things the home section does have, the prices are decent.
Well, when I discovered this little nugget of information, it was one day before my mother's birthday, so I did have to go to the department store anyway and get the actual gift. But, the web site is fun for me personally and has become a more convenient and inexpensive solution than having the store across the street.
