The atmosphere is cozy, and resembles an Italian villa. There is plenty of space between tables, which is a big selling point for me. I detest going into a restaurant with my mate, only to feel as if we are sharing dinner with the people at the next table. It is open and airy, and there is great natural lighting in the section where we were seated.
They have plenty of classic dishes to choose from as well as a few new flavors. You are presented with fresh salad and some of the best homemade bread sticks I believe I have had while you wait for your meal. I personally tried the Chicken Parmesan, which you can get with the traditional spaghetti marinara, or you can opt for the Fettuccine Alfredo instead. I got the Alfredo, and it was to die for. I don't believe I have had a richer, creamier Alfredo sauce anywhere. Though there were plenty of other things to try on the menu. My husband chose traditional Lasagna. He said it was better than mine, and I wasn't offended in the least.
If you aren't one for wine with your meal, but don't care for soda either, I would also suggest having the Carolina sweet tea to drink. I am not much of a tea drinker, but I loved this stuff. Just the right touch of sugar, and that fresh brewed taste usually associated with the South.
There wasn't any room left, but I was so impressed with everything else, I convinced my husband to split a dessert with me. We got a fresh fruit tart. Not only was it beautifully presented, it tasted even better. Fresh ripe fruit on a tart with a lightly lemon flavored cream cheese base. It was wonderful.
I am just waiting for the next family member to visit, or any other reason I can come up with for an excuse to dine here again. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about my dining experience in this establishment. So if you are ever this way, I would say stop in and give it a taste, you won't be disappointed.
