Kourtney Kardashian Struggled with Abortion Option Before Deciding to Have Baby

Kourtney Kardashian recently announced her pregnancy on national television. Just days later, she shared the information that she had struggled with the news that she was pregnant. According to Kourtney, she even contemplated abortion.

It is interesting that she decided to share her struggle with the media and her fans. By announcing that she and periodic long-term boyfriend Scott Disick were having a baby, her choice not to have an abortion is implied. Without her announcement, it most likely would have been assumed that abortion was not even considered.

The fall-out of her announcement that she considered abortion is yet to be felt. Will the public focus on her decision to keep the baby? Or will they focus on the fact that she thought of termination of the pregnancy as an option? Will she be celebrated? Or vilified? Only time will tell.

She said that her doctor told her that she will never regret having the child, but she may regret not having it. Kourtney is lucky to have a loving supportive family and the financial means to raise a child.
