Kraftfoods.com: The Perfect Source for Dinner Ideas

Jennifer Sapa
Kraftfoods.com is the perfect online recipe source. Kraftfoods.com is so perfect that I don't even open my old recipe books anymore. The website is full of recipes and more important dinner ideas.

I discovered Kraftfoods.com a couple of years ago when I was browsing the web for dinner ideas. My mother never took the time to teach me to cook when I was younger. Since she was never a big cook, I have no family recipes to fall back on. I also have no food imagination so that has resulted in some very boring dinners that mainly consisted of pasta noodles with red sauce. Thanks to kraftfoods.com, I will never cook just plain boring spaghetti again. Kraftfoods.com has given me at least 10 different ideas to spice up spaghetti.

Not only does Kraftfoods.com have dozens of recipes on the website, but they also offer free recipes by email. The site has meal-planners, healthy eating ideas and 1000's of recipes. You can create a member id for free. One of the benefits of creating a member id is creating your own recipe box on site. This is perfect for storing recipes that you see on the site but want to try at a later date. They also have a discussion forum where you can discuss recipes and other topics with forum members.

Another benefit for members is you can rate recipes that you have tried and share your tips and experiences. This is a great feature. I was looking at my favorite meatloaf recipe at Kraftfoods.com and noticed a tip from a member. The member commented that instead of using barbecue sauce for the glaze, the member sprinkled brown sugar over a ketchup glaze. I used that member tip last night and loved it.

The best perk of Kraftfoods.com is their free quarterly magazine, Food & Family. You can register at the website to receive the free magazine. There are also archived copies on the website in case you missed a back issue. The glossy magazine is fully of recipes, food articles, and even more dinner ideas. The only downside is the back issues accumulate quickly and take up valuable space. I have a hard time throwing the back issues away. One of these days, I will sit down and clip the recipes that I want to keep.

If you haven't browsed kraftfoods.com yet, take the time to look. I highly recommend the "Easy Pleasing Meatloaf" recipe.
