Drilling outdoors gives you the opportunity to teach you the hazards of uneven terrain, and how to develop good footwork and balance. It begins with techniques to overcome fear, analysis of survival chances in a threat situation and a comprehensive study of reaction time and pressure points.
Techniques are based on natural instincts and feature simple, basic movements of the human body so, you will never have a long series of moves to memorize. Techniques and tactics are simple, quick and easy to master and are incredibly effective. Combative techniques can be punches, elbow scrubs and other techniques can be front kicks or knee strikes.
It's never cool to fight, but when you have to defend yourself or loved ones, it's a complete different story. Students will learn Krav Maga's fighting stance and movement, various punches, kicks from standing position as well as from on the ground, elbows and knees, and how to defend against punches, chokes, headlocks and wrist grabs. The system, a hybrid of karate, wrestling, judo, jujitsu, boxing, muay thai, and street survival tactics, integrates different instinct-based self-defense maneuvers with a strong curriculum that trains situational awareness and a fighting spirit, as well as verbal de-escalation of conflict.
Krav Maga is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios. The easily acquired natural techniques, combined with logically structured defense tactics, form a self-defense system characterized by simplicity; this is in fact the true secret of Krav Maga's effectiveness.
