Kriaxanthin Antarctic Krill Oil Omega3 Fatty Acids from Vitacost Review
Kriaxanthin Antarctic Krill Oil is an Excellent Source of Omega3 Fatty Acids
Antarctic krill look like shrimp, and the largest they grow is six centimeters. The krill feed on phytoplankton and algae. This tiny little invertebrate is extremely nutritious. According to Vitacost, this omega3 fatty acids can improve your health. Including cardiovascular, neurological, bone and joint, immune system, vision and respiratory health. It may lower your cholesterol levels, increase mental concentration, help with arthritis, stronger immune system and promote healthy respiratory function.
Kriaxanthin Antarctic Krill Oil is one of the highest quality omega3 fatty acids available. Each serving (2 soft gels) contain: 300IU of Vitamin A (from krill oil), 1 IU of Vitamin E (from krill oil), 1,000 mg of Antarctic Krill Oil (euphasia pacifica) Kriaxanthin, Providing: 130 mg of total omega3 fatty acids, 50 mg EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), 20 mg of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), 20 mg total omega6 fatty acids and 2 mg of astaxanthin.
The Astaxanthin is an all natural carotenoid and functions as antioxidant. Along with the vitamin A and E, this product has powerful antioxidant benefits as well. I definitely notice a difference in how I feel on days that I take it. The omega3 fatty acids in krill oil seem to boost my energy and give me an overall feeling of well being. I have actually been giving these soft gel capsules to my dog and cats as well with good results. I have noticed there hair seems shiny and healthy. Although I am not a veterinarian, therefore I cannot say whether they would be safe for your pet.
The Kriaxanthin Antarctic Krill Oil omega3 fatty acids come in a sealed plastic white bottle. It has blue, gold and black lettering on it with a screw off top. The soft gels look bright red. The gel coating is clear, it is actually the krill oil they are filled with that is bright red. You can either just swallow the gel capsule or break it in your mouth and discard the gel part. The krill has a pleasant taste, but it is unlike anything I have tried so I cannot accurately describe it. I absolutely love this product from Vitacost and will definitely buy it again!
