Kris Jenner-the Ultimate Stage Mother

The Kardashians: Kim, Kourtney and the unfortunate looking Khloe are part of the dynasty of young women who became famous for doing absolutely nothing. For that, we can thank the ultimate stage mother, Kris Jenner. It is starting to be revealed just how calculating she is in the lives of her older daughters for the sake of ratings. One wonders about the fate of her younger daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Kris Jenner manages every member of her family in a professional capacity. One wonders exactly where her role as manager ends and concerned mom begins. It was hinted that she was behind the expedited courtship of Khloe and equally unfortunate looking Lamar Odom. No one was really paying attention to Khloe-even in the first seasons of the show and this wedding thrust her into the public eye. Kris knows weddings sell and with the swag and bank that the couple managed to pick up at their nuptials, it was a smart move. There is buzz now that Kris is trying to convince the couple to have a baby because baby = megabucks.

Kourtney has a handsome baby boy, Mason, with her annoying dead weight boyfriend Scott Disick. For any other concerned parent, I think they would be attempting to keep their daughter away from this toxic situation. Kris has managed to keep this slime ball around her daughter and cause more stress in the life of her grandson. Once again, the conflict Scott causes raises ratings, so Kris figures it must not be a bad thing. There are additional rumblings of pressure for the disruptive twosome to marry to score even more ratings for the show.

The only sane person in all this emerged during the break up of Kim and Reggie Bush. There are rumors swirling of cheating and pressure from Kim about marriage but I think there may be another factor. Maybe Reggie Bush is not interested in signing up for the Cirque de Kardashian. I think it was a bold move on his part to opt out of the craziness and enjoy what little privacy he can.

Not satisfied with the dysfunction of her three oldest daughters, Kris has already secured modeling gigs for the next victim in line, Kendall Kardashian. You have to ask yourself when exactly does the madness end? When do parents go back to being parents? Do ratings matter when you are an accomplice in messing up your children's lives?
