Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: Dating, Break Up, Rumors Anger Fans

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (K-Stew and R-Pattz) have some loyal fans. Dating, breakup, and many other rumors circulate around the Twilight stars. It's not surprising...even before the internet was full of celebrity gossip blogs and sites, our favorite stars got their dose of media circus from the printed glossy gossip mags and tabloids.

Still, now there are avenues of public forum, and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson fans are not happy with the constant barrage of rumors about the real life personas of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

As I have read several blog posts and magazine articles about the fans to share the latest information, I notice that there are always comments which say "leave the two alone!" Of course, I bookmark the blog post to come back, and when I do comments are either turned off or all the negative fan comments erased.

That got me to think...are R-Pattz and K-Stew fans happy about all the rumors circulating? Yes, the blogosphere will keep writing about the couple as long as people keep searching them. However, people are searching for definitive information, not fluff and gossip.

Truth be told, there's going to be little new and confirmed news about the two. They are both pretty private about their lives and haven't publicly addressed dating rumors. When they were on the Oprah show, they never answered her question. They joked about R-Pattz being pregnant and K-Stew never having a kid...but that was it. There was no direct answer as to whether or not they had a relationship.

So the media circus continues. The most recent rumors that are circulating relate to K-Stew giving R-Pattz lap dances. This rumor started in OK magazine. Although "Welcome to the Rileys" was filmed in 2008, it still hasn't been released yet. In the film, Stewart plays a prostitute/stripper and had to learn how to give lap dances. Who was the beneficiary? Ok Magazine says it was Robert Pattinson.

Of course this harmless rumor could be misinterpreted as Kristen Stewart actually being a pole dancer - or worse. Bloggers can make it sound worse than it really is. So what, she gave her "boyfriend" (again, we don't know if he really is her boyfriend) a lap dance. I'd venture to bet that there are many normal, everyday women out there who haven't as much as set foot in a strip club that do this each and every day.

Besides that, dating and break up rumors pop up each day. I highly doubt that either star will ever admit to breaking up or dating in the near term. The rush of being hopeful that the two are together, coupled with the let-down that they split make even the sanest of fans feel the pinch. It's frustrating.
