Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Are Cheap and Another Woman Has Come Between Them!

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are cheap and another woman has come between them! But don't worry, they're not stiffing waitresses on tips or anything -- instead they're giving filmmakers the best bang for their buck. And the woman coming between them is an actress who is keeping their names apart on Forbes' list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck.

Some moviegoers are probably wondering why Kristen keeps snagging juicy movie roles like On the Road and Snow White and the Huntsman, even though she's not the best actress out there. There might be a bit of an explanation now in Forbes' list .

Kristen topped the list because for every $1 she is paid, her films earn an average $55.83. Of course she has the Twilight movies to thank for the incredible amount of cash she brings in - the first films were relatively inexpensive to make, and she didn't get paid a superstar salary since she was an up-and-comer.

Robert Pattinson finished third on Forbes' list because his independent movies Remember Me and Water for Elephants didn't do too well at the box office, meaning his average got dragged down a little bit.

So perhaps the producers and directors of movies like On the Road and Snow White and the Huntsman are trying to cash in on Kristen Stewart while they still can - her salary has risen considerably, but she and Robert Pattinson still don't get $20 million paychecks like some other big stars.

Forbes' list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck took the last five years into consideration, so it's no surprise that Daniel Radcliffe finished fourth with a little help from the Harry Potter franchise. Shia LaBeouf, who topped the list last year, managed to hang on to the fifth spot with a little help from the Transformers movies and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

But who finished between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the second slot? The woman keeping the couple apart is beauty Anne Hathaway, whose movies Alice in Wonderland and Bride Wars did well enough to help her land so high up on the list. Since she also gets so much bang for the buck, maybe that's why she was cast as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. Of course she's also a decent actress, so it's nice that someone with some true talent finished in the top three. Then again, it's kind of shame her silly character in Alice is what helped her get there rather than her stellar performance in Rachel Getting Married.

So it seems that Kristen is riding a wave right now - filmmakers want to cast her because her asking price isn't too outrageous, and she's proved that audiences will pay to see her. However, the real test will come when Snow White and the Huntsman hits theaters - it's getting a lot of buzz, but audiences could decide that they only like seeing Kristen as Bella.

So do you think more filmmakers will try to cast Kristen now why she's a hot commodity, or should they start looking for the next Kristen in new blood that will work for a lot less?
