This Novelist has written a numerous amount of novels. Such as; True Colors, Magic Hour, Winter Garden, Firefly Lane, Mystic Lake, and so many more! Kristin Hannah was born In September 1960, in Southern California. When she was eight years old her father moved the family to Western Washington.
Later in life she was working at an advertising agency. Then she decided she would go to law school. In Kristin's final year of law school her mother was in the hospital. Her mother was enduring the end of a long battle with cancer. It was then her mother told her she believed Kristin Hannah was meant to be a writer. They came up wit papers, which she then packed away due to her mothers passing.
Kristin Hannah then married and continued with law. She became pregnant and was put on bed rest for five months. Which gave her time to read a lot and realize she wanted to write. She pulled out the old papers from her and her mothers work. It was then that she finished her first draft and found she loved it! Kristin Hannah went through rejections but used them to fuel her. She still loves telling stories today!
Kristin Hannah is my favorite novelist because she has stories that a great many can relate to. Whether it's family, jobs, or love. She can tell these situations so well. What characters are going through and how they work together or solve the issues. Though I have not had the pleasure of reading every one of her novels, yet, the ones I have enjoyed so far make me want to read them all. If you like novels you cannot put down. Kristin Hannah is the novelist for you!
A favorite novel of mine that she has written would be Between Sisters. This is a book I could connect with. Due to the fact that I have sisters. Sisters that I have been through a lot with. The book Between Sisters has issues we can all face as family, sisters, friends, etc. The differences we have and yet the characters can figure a way to work through them and come together.
As a fan of this novelist, Kristin Hannah, I highly recommend her novels. I have stated many reasons why and I think anyone can enjoy her works.
