Krusteaz Lemon Bars Review

Amy Brantley
I love to have dessert every night. Even though I'm trying to lose weight, a small piece of dessert is a must. While I love to make desserts from scratch, I don't always have time. This has led me to choose store-bought mixes. Any time I don't have time to make a dessert from scratch, I just grab one of these handy mixes. One of my favorites though is Krusteaz Lemon Bars. But, what makes this tangy treat so tasty?

Krusteaz Lemon Bars Review: Ease of Preparation

First of all, Krusteaz Lemon Bars are easy to prepare. All you need is 1/3 cup water and 3 eggs. Just preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. Then mix the water and eggs and stir in the filling. Pour the bag of crust into the 8 inch pan and press into the bottom and slightly up the edges. Bake the crust for 8 minutes. Add the filling and bake for 22 more minutes. Allow the lemon bars to cool and then sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into squares and enjoy.

Krusteaz Lemon Bars Review: Taste

Krusteaz Lemon Bars have a wonderful rich and tangy flavor. I love the tartness of this product and often serve this dessert after a meal that has a bit of fat in it. The tangy flavor of Krusteaz Lemon Bars helps clear your palate of the rich flavors supper may have left behind.

Krusteaz Lemon Bars Review: Price

Krusteaz Lemon Bars cost $2.50. This product is often on sale for $1.25 though. When this happens, I highly suggest stocking up on this easy to prepare treat.

Krusteaz Lemon Bars Review: Satisfaction Rating

I would have to give Krusteaz Lemon Bars 5 stars. This product is easy to prepare, has a great taste, and it's too expensive. I highly suggest that you try it on one of those nights when you don't have time to make a homemade dessert.

this is the third and final time I will buy this product... I make them "exactly" as the directions say and they NEVER come out right.... browns on the edges but never cooks in the middle... money thrown down the drain....... shame on me for purchasing them 3 different times in hopes "this time they'll come out good""..... ha!!!
