Kung Fu Panda Review

Allie Bojko
Kung Fu Panda revolves around an individual named Po (voiced by Jack Black) who's a genuinely great but a total klutz. It also doesn't help that he's a Panda. Po has had many dreams or visions of himself fighting along those legendary martial artists known as the Furious Five and to serve those of the community he has grown to love so dearly from any potential threats. The only true conflict that exists is that Po the panda doesn't have any experience in Kung Fu fighting and that he helps out his dad at his noodle shop by serving noodles as his real life job, without having anytime to work on his dream in becoming a Dragon Warrior.

Unfortunately, word gets out that the Jade Temple have been looking to select a new Dragon Warrior, that will fight and aid the legendary Furious Five, this is something Po has been waiting for his entire life, so the whole city including Po join the ceremony. The whole competition was basically within the Furious Five that include- Tigress (voiced over by Angelina Jolie), Crane (voiced over by David Cross), Mantis (voiced by Seth Rogen), Viper (voiced by Lucy Lui), and finally Monkey (voiced by Jackie Chan). Po by chance finds himself in the middle of the arena, he's given the title as the new Dragon Master. Master Shifu (voiced by Dustin Hoffman) must do everything in his power to train Po successfully as the new Dragon Master, so it is him that must fight off the evil snow leopard Tai Lung (voiced by Ian McShane) because he's headed in their direction.

When I first saw this movie Kung Fu Panda I didn't think it was going to be all that good, maybe a few laughs here and there but nothing other than that. Since this is a Dreamworks animated film that's usually there forte but they went beyond it in this movie that I haven't ever seen in any of their other animated films. Kung Fu Panda exceeded everyone of my expectations and that doesn't happen all that much but it did, I loved how simple the story line was and how well they executed this movie, it was perfectly done. All of the animations were indeed very nicely done and as far as the colors are concerned they were very well implemented. All of the laughs throughout the movie were great in the sense that they were added at the right times in the movie.

Kung Fu Panda is a great animated movie that provides quite a bit of comedy along the way, not to mention some important life lessons. It's certainly true that the viewers of this movie can relate to these characters in one way or another in which those who have the dreams of doing the unthinkable or impossible, just as the panda Po. Po eventually learns that if he can believe in himself, he can do just about anything without hesitating. It could clearly be said that Jack Black's Po and Dustin Hoffman's Master Shifu worked perfectly as far as their voiceovers are concerned and the whole chopstick fighting scene were such a joy to watch between the two, it was one of my favorite scenes of the movie Kung Fu Panda. Ian McShane's Tai Lung was quite impressive as the movie's villain, the battle that takes place on the rope bridge was really worth watching, it was truly spectacular. This movie's for the entire family, both the children and adults would simply love this movie. I suggest you go to your local video store and rent this movie you won't be disappointed. I'd also like to say thanks for taking the time to read my article I really appreciate it.

All of The Furious Five members fighting styles are in fact the real martial art styles of those particular animals such as the Mantis, Viper, Monkey, Crane and finally the Tiger.

One of my favorites to watch with my kids. Almost anything with Jack Black is good though.
