The 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 11 - Week 8 results show began with the judges' choice dance, and they picked Kyle and Lacy's dance from Week 8. Throughout the evening, a panel comprised of Kenny Mayne, Jerry Rice and Len Goodman humorously evaluated the contestants, including Kurt Warner.

Kurt "Crunch Time" Warner was once a grocery store clerk and Kenny asked Goodman if this might help Warner. Goodman showed hand and arm movements for stocking groceries, jokingly indicating this might help Warner. Goodman complimented Warner on the ease and elegance of his dancing before donning big prop hands to joke with Mayne about Warner's large "frying pan" hands. Mayne concluded with a clip that showed Kurt Warner systematically taking out the competition with a football.

Mayne started his routine about Bristol "The Pistol" Palin by telling viewers Sarah Palin named Bristol after an inn where she was working at the time, adding it was a good thing the inn was not called "The Barf." Len Goodman complimented Palin on her footwork, saying she constantly keeps her heels and toes in line. Mayne mentioned Palin was from a strong Republican family, stating that the Republicans had just won the house and were counting on Bristol Palin to push them over the top.

Musical guest on the "Dancing with the Stars" Week 8 Result show included John Legend and The Roots performing "Wake Up!" and Tie Cruz performing his single "Dynamite."

Bristol Palin Makes Semi-Finals on "Dancing with the Stars"

Bristol Palin commented on being at the bottom of the leader board again, saying that she was getting used to it. However, while Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya were the first jeopardy named in jeopardy, to everyone's surprise, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were pronounced safe to continue on to the semi-finals thanks to the viewers' votes.

Following a small tiff with judge Carrie Ann Inaba, Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy joined Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya as they waited for the final verdict. Then Kurt Warner learned his fate - he would be leaving "Dancing with the Stars" before the semi-finals. Bruno said in losing Warner, "Dancing with the Stars" had lost a true gentleman and a "real 'American Idol.'" Warner said he was thankful to "Dancing with the Stars" for giving him the opportunity to impact people and build relationships.

Kurt Warner joins Rick Fox, Audrina Patridge, Florence Henderson, Mike Sorrentino, Margaret Cho, Michael Bolton, and David Hasselhoff as the competitors who have left "Dancing with the Stars" during season 11.
