Dennis Simanaitis of Road & Track drove a Volvo C30 Electric in downtown Los Angles and found the car to be "city-zippy, silent, and fun." Of note is that Volvo's electric cars have been tested in the homeland's (Sweden) winter - down to minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
In 2012, a C30 Electric fleet will be going to Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States including California, New York and Indiana, as Volvo has a battery supplier with a major facility in the Hoosier state.
