Kyocera and LGInfocomm: A Cell Phone Review

Evan Nash
If you are looking to get out of your cell "hell" and looking to join the elite of cell phone users then it is time that you upgrade from your current phone (the one that is bigger than your briefcase) and step up to the winner's level. To achieve this goal you will definitely need to do one thing much better than you did the last time you purchased a phone, do a little studying.

This adventure is about finding what you want on your terms so you need to keep it simple. Study first what it is that you want from a cell phone, and then study what is available. Combine the first two with whatever is most affordable to you and then you will be in good shape, here is a brief summary of phones available from Kyocera and LGInfocomm to get you started.

Aside from the ridiculously accurate and hilariously real commercials, Kyocera is a cell phone beast that is developing into a giant out of strange beginnings. Kyocera started as a fine ceramics manufacturer and didn't get into the cell phone game until February 2000, noticing the potential and excitement of the burgeoning field. Don't let their brief history in the game fool you, Kyocera has a remarkable project considering their late start.

The folks at Kyocera are definitely not shy about making cell phones to suit just about every possible consumer as they have somewhere between 30 and 45 phones for sale at any given time. In this group is their golden child for the moment with the Strobe/Switchback that features a very strong camera and QWERTY keyboard to try to help the user feel at-home.

LGInfocomm may not be a name that jumps out at you right away as a technological giant, but they actually are THE name for Korean electronics. LGInfocomm will let you know about their status as the creators of the first radio, telephone, refrigerator, television, and air conditioner in Korea.

These electronic wizards make telephones for Verizon, Metro PCS, Alltell, US Cellular, and Sprint to get their name in front of a few of the "townsfolk". Having deals with Disney and Fusic, the name of LGInfocomm is starting to make some noise in the international cell phone trade just as it is hitting its peak. While it may not be the trendy thing to have an LGInfocomm phone at the time, why shouldn't you have the opportunity to be a trendsetter?
