Donations are desperately needed to treat a dog's mange, says Eyes of an Angel Pet Rescue.

"We have met 44 percent of the goal already for the funds needed to treat Kyra's democlectic mange," states the organization's rep.

Helping Orphaned Hounds announced Sunday that an urgent transport and foster homes are needed for a mom and her six puppies after a forest fire caused their foster parents to evacute their home in Arizona.

There is also an urgent need for volunteer help at the Sacramento County Animal Shelter in California, according to Wag Hotels.

"Today there were 273 cats and 132 dogs at the shelter," states a mass email. "As you may know, the shelter has been hit hard by budget cuts."
