Kyron Horman, Age 8, Missing Over 100 Days: Parents to Be on Oprah Show

Julia Bodeeb
Kyron Horman has been missing for over 100 days since he disappeared on June 4, 2010 from Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon. His parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, are going to be on the Oprah Winfrey show on Thursday to talk about Kyron, notes OregonLive.com.

Kyron recently turned age 8 on September 9. He is missing and whereabouts unknown. Did he even know it was his birthday?

A new school year has started, but Kyron won't be at his school. His classmates must be very upset that their friend is still missing. Their lives will be changed forever due to the strange disappearance of a child from their school.

New Video Cameras at SkylineElementary School

It is tragic that a young boy could just disappear from a school building. A corporate donor has now given Skyline Elementary School a security system with video camera surveillance. This should help increase security in the building. However, this new security came to late to keep Kyron safe. All schools should have video cameras throughout the school.

No Arrests

No arrests have been made in this case yet. The police did send out a survey asking questions about Kyron's step-mom, Terri Horman. She is the last person to have seen Kyron. She claims that she last saw him walking down the hallway to his classroom after they visited the school science fair together.

Someone knows something about where Kyron is and who took him. It is tragic if someone who knew Kyron has him and is keeping him away from school and his real life.

Let's hope this show brings answers. I still don't understand how a school could lose a little boy without anyone seeing a thing. Kudos to whoever donated the cameras. I hope other school systems will stand up and take notice.
