Kyron Horman News: Was Michael Cook an Accomplice to Stepmom Terri Horman in Kyron's Disappearance?

In recent days, Terri Horman has come under the ire of her husband Kaine Horman, Kyron's father, for attempting to hire their landscaper in a murder-for hire, for trying to abduct their baby daughter while Kaine worked out at a local gym (FOX News), and for sexting photos of herself to Kaine's former high school pal, Michael Cook.

Terri Horman's behavior since 7-year-old Kyron Horman went missing beggars the question: "Who is this woman?" And, undoubtedly, her husband Kaine Horman is wondering the same thing. But Michael Cook, one of Kaine's former high school football friends seems to understand Terri Horman quite well--a little too well.

According to Michael Cook, he says, "I'm better friends with her now," since his fellow football friend, Kaine, moved out of the house.

Cook and Kaine were classmates at Shoreline High School but, in spite of Kaine's efforts, never reconnected as friends when Cook moved to Portland. But Cook seems to have connected with Kaine's wife Terri somehow.

Michael Cook started coming around right after Kyron Horman went missing, officially, according to Oregon Live. And now that Kaine and Terri Horman have separated and Kaine is filing for divorce, Michael has been seen fetching food for Terri Horman and her family as he enjoys explicit sexual photos of Terri on his phone, courtesy of the woman herself.

According to sources (including KATU.com), and Kaine's own court document paperwork, Terri Horman began an alleged sexual relationship with Michael Cook just four days after Kaine left the home with their daughter (and obtained a restraining order), as well as started divorce proceedings.

Lest anyone think the 'sexting' sexually explicit photos Terri has made available for Michael Cook's viewing pleasure is hearsay, law enforcement retrieved the images from Cook's phone in the course of their investigation. They also retrieved over 100 text messages between the two parties. Did they have something that important to talk about after only connecting when Kryon disappeared?

Terri Horman: A Serious Suspect?

When little Kyron Horman went missing, some speculated that Terri Horman was instrumental in his disappearance. As additional information about the stepmother of the 7-year-old missing boy continues to find its way to the public arena, that speculation is viewed even more seriously.

But the question now is: If Terri Horman is involved in Kyron's disappearance, did she act alone? Could she have pulled off the child's disappearance so effectively on her own?

The alleged murder-for-hire plot by Terri with a local landscaper had sexual overtones like the ones now being expressed towards Michael Cook, according to police. And with Terri allegedly seeking to end Kaine's life to no avail, and with Kyron's life hanging in the balance, she has yet again turned to another man, sexually, according to the graphic images police uncovered. Michael Cook is that man.

Michael Cook No Friend to Kaine Horman

If Michael Cook refused Kaine Horman's attempts to renew their high school friendship when Kaine made overtures before, how did Michael get to know Terri in the first place? Better yet, why would he draw closer to Kaine's wife than Kaine, especially during such a critical time in Kaine's life? And even more importantly, why come around the minute Kyron goes missing...not before?

The recipient of Terri Horman's graphic sexual photos said this about why he is around Terri now, "I'm better friends with her now. I just care about them and want their son to be found."

Michael Cook and Terri Horman: An Item Before Kyron Disappeared?

Contradictory words at best from Michael Cook. Cook supposedly has closer ties with Terri Horman, the woman allegedly accused of attempting to have his high school friend murdered, than of Kaine. In addition, how can he say he is better friends with her given what she is alleged to have attempted?

But if there were any doubt about Michael Cook and his personal motives in this case, as well as the untruth to his assertion "I just care about them and want their son to be found," one only has to consider the fact that Cook was in possession of 100 text messages and explicit photos of his friend's wife in the buff. And it wasn't Cook who willingly told law enforcement about them either.

Kyron Horman: A Victim of Two Adults Instead of One?

It doesn't sound like Michael Cook is thinking about Kyron Horman, or finding the missing boy for Kaine. In addition, Kaine alleges in his court documents that Terri Horman shared the sealed restraining order document with Cook, allowing him to photograph it, which makes Kaine's current address information available for any to see, if Michael Cook chose to make it public.

Law enforcement will keep an eye out for the future safety of Kaine Horman and his baby daughter even more now. And it is certain that the alibi of Michael Cook for the day of Kyron's disappearance, as well as the period before then, will continue to be researched by investigators for days to come. Kyron Horman didn't just walk into the wood the day Terri Horman took him to school. Someone took Kyron somewhere else that day. And that someone undoubtedly had the trust of the child to do it.
