The start to the La Aroma De Cuba cigars is best described as peppery and intense. The level of spiciness was so strong that I almost did not give these cigars a chance. But since we had no other cigars, we decided to continue smoking the La Aroma cigars. It was a good decision because the La Aroma Cigars began to taste smoother after about five minutes of smoking. After this cool-down period, the La Aroma De Cuba cigars would best be described as strong but smooth.
It is clear that La Aroma De Cuba cigars are not a premium cigar compared to other favorite cigars of mine, such as the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Series cigars. But the La Aroma De Cuba cigars are an affordable alternative for those cigar smokers who prefer a stronger cigar with intensity of flavor.
I would not recommend the La Aroma De Cuba cigars to inexperienced cigar smokers, since novice cigar smokers will find the extreme intensity of the initial taste of the cigar to be off-putting. But experienced cigar smokers, who can handle strong cigars without becoming lightheaded or disgusted by smoking a strong cigar, may enjoy the La Aroma De Cuba cigars very much.
Despite the fact that the La Aroma De Cuba cigars mellowed as they smoked, my cigar buddy and I did not finish smoking the cigars completely. These cigars were enjoyable, but not spectacular. I would probably rate them an 82 out of 100; they were enjoyable, even pleasant, but clearly they could not compete with the majority of premium cigars for consistency and flavor. If you enjoy experimenting with new cigars, the La Aroma De Cuba cigars are worth a try, but I will likely not repeat the experience due to the inconsistency of flavor and strength that was a distraction from an enjoyable cigar experience.
