L.A. Colors Lips - Lip Color is a Good Quality Product

Susan Slade
A product that I really love is L.A. Colors Lips - Lip Color. I found it at the Dollar Tree store, and as it was in a clear plastic bubble, I could see the lip color through it. It looked shiny, creamy, and the perfect color I was looking for.

The lipstick has a black base that is square. It has a square shaped clear plastic cover. However, the lipstick is in a silver colored round tube, the same as any of lipstick. The net weight is 0.14 ounce (3.7 g). The color I chose is BLC245, Satin.

Upon pulling off the clear plastic top, the lipstick has an angled, but sharply curved tip to it. You just know by looking at it, that it will be a rich, and creamy lipstick.

I had taken the lipstick to England with me, when visiting family, and the weather was not kind. So I used my lipstick to protect my lips from cracking, or drying out.

The L.A. Colors Lips - Lip Color went on very easily, and as it had a smaller angled top, didn't go over the edges of my thin lips. The color was just perfect for me, a pink/salmon color. It was just one or two shades darker than my natural lips. My lips had a great shine to them, and when I pursed them together, they slid. The Lip Color has the most amazing smell to it, which is sweet, and interesting.

Upon reading the back of the label, I found out that the lip color contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. I had guessed that the lipstick had vitamins, or moisturizers in it, as it felt so creamy.

My lipstick only stayed on until I drank, or ate something, and then I had to reapply it. Unless you buy a permanent lipstick, this happens with them all.

In Florida I tend to use lip balms during the day, but as I was with family, and out, and about, I used this lipstick for almost three weeks.

The results were that my lips stayed hydrated, and looked good. The cold weather, and yes we had the coldest day in August for 40 years in England, didn't affect them in the slightest. I was really happy with the coverage it gave me, and the protection my lips had during this stay.

As I only paid $1 for the L.A. Colors Lips - Lip Color, I have to say that this is one of my favorite bargains. If I find any left in the Dollar Store upon my return, I will certainly buy more.

Rae, I came back from England, and found out that A.C. had removed my photograph. This one was taken at the Grand Hotel, in Folkestone, Kent, last month. Apart from Len, all my family was there, 4 generations.
