"LA Ink" Update

Kat Von D, star of TLC's "LA Ink" has been throwing a fit. It seems that her now ex-boyfriend, Jesse James, the ex-husband of Sandra Bullock, is now an ex-show-mate as well as ex-boyfriend/lover. Wow, what a sentence!

Jesse James played a big part in the episode that will air this coming Wednesday. But Kat, red wig and big eyes, doesn't think poor Jesse James was portrayed fairly. When the episode was shot, Kat and Jesse were tight as thieves, but things change. It's supposedly a 'reality show' so if he was portrayed unfairly, wasn't that his own doing?

I think the more honest reason is that Kat wigged out during shooting, wigged out about her then ex, who is now her current on-again boyfriend, Nikki Sixx. Now that Kat and Nikki are back together, she may not be all that thrilled to have Nikki know that she didn't speak too highly of him! Just my opinion.

Kat wants everything with Jesse pulled from the show. That is putting TLC into a tailspin wondering how to fill the vacant air time. Air time is money, so I'm sure they will come up with something! Maybe they can repaint the mural a few more times to fill the void.

Kat has been having a rough go of it lately, what with being bitten in the eye by a spider, the fact she had no time to give her employees a 3 year anniversary party, now the Jesse/Nikki thing. Yes, I have watched the show. Not 'faithfully' but frequently enough to know that some of those tattoo artists are unbelievably talented.

It amazes me to witness a customer show up with a photo and an idea and turn them over to Kat without reservation or hesitation. I am sure some of the customers aren't happy with the outcome, but we won't see those aired. The ones we do see are works of art. I have never been one to want dye injected into my skin, but I do appreciate the talent involved.

LA Ink, something a little different. Kat Von D, a little more colorful than the ordinary!
