La Petite Academy has a friendly staff. They appear to work well with the children. When I made a visit I saw two teachers and what appeared to be about thirteen children. The teachers would always have a friendly smile when they would talk to the children. Even when some of the children weren't following rules they seem to remain calm, cool and collect. For example, I saw a boy throwing rocks outside at another child. One of the teachers told the child to stop throwing rocks. Then she took him aside and talked about the consequences of throwing rocks. The teacher and boy did a wonderful job in working together in talking about what is ok to throw such as a ball.
La Petite Academy is a fun place to be. The children seem happy with all the fun activities their teachers had in store for them. During my visit I got to see children play learning games, paint, play outside, sing songs and act out a play from a book that was read called, The Three Little Pigs. For the most part the children were following rules and excited about the next activity they were going to transition.
La Petite Academy has wonderful curriculum. The preschool program appears to be geared at helping children progress academically according to the level they are at. One of the teachers shared with me that they develop activities based on the children's needs. For example, if a child needs work on catching a ball they incorporate ball catching in their curriculum. She told me they pick at least a couple of things that children need work on include it in the lesson plan. I love the individualization that they do. They don't just lump all the kids together but everyone is looked at separately.
La Petite Academy has a flat fee of $155 a week. That is five days from 6:30 in the morning till 6:30 in the afternoon.
La Petite Academy is an excellent school with wonderful staff and educational curriculum that is individualized for the children. The work with the parents in making sure the child learns and progresses. La Petite Academy is a school I would recommend to anyone who wants to start their child in preschool.

Post a CommentTheir staff is payed minimum wage and treat their employees bad.
I heard that sometimes they don't have enough staff for all the children. That would concern me.
I like this article because we recently had a La Petite Academy open here in my town. Good job.
