Being a family owned restaurant La Placita offers authentic Mexican food unlike what you would find at some fast food joint. It is hard to say one particular food choice here is better then another. Many restaurants have one particular specialty that they are best at making but La Placita just makes everything good. The one exception I would make to the rule about getting your own food is you might want to try the Patrick Burrito. The Patrick Burrito is the only thing that La Placita makes that is its own. Besides the food being great and most food prices being low La Placita also has great service. I have never had a bad experience or heard of a bad experience from anyone else at La Placita. I have heard of some postive stores of workers going above and beyond for guests though.
