Labor Day Activities in Orlando for the Whole Family

The purpose of Labor Day is to revel in the freedom of not having to report to work or school. It doesn't really matter how you spend Labor Day weekend as long as you're not engaging in (or thinking about) topics related to the office, but what's the point in celebrating if you're just going to hang around the house? 26th Annual ProAm Surf Festival

Cocoa Beach hosts the annual ProAm Surf Festival over Labor Day weekend, which is located at the Cocoa Beach pier. Watch surfers churn up the waves, lounge on the beach, and eat good food. There are musical performances, street vendors, and lots of other fun activities to be enjoyed. Karate demonstrations and bikini contests round out the event.

It happens every year in Orlando over Labor Day weekend, and it's considered the place to be if you enjoy the theme park and want to stir up some excitement. Not only do you get tickets for the theme park for the day, but you also get to join in on the Family Reunion festivities. Get autographs from attending celebrities and take in some great music.
