Labor Day weekend is one of our last official summer weekend's before school and work and schedules get crazy. Below find some great things to do in San Diego and surrounding areas to end your summer with a bang.

Festival of Sail
September 2-5, 2011

See faboulous ships from all over the world "parade" around San Diego. There will be all kinds of entertainment, petting zoo, vendors, arts and crafts, plenty of food and even some pirates! A fun family way to spend the holiday.

Fortune's Labor Day Pool Party
September 2011 (check website for exact date)

Located on the Ivy Rooftop at the Andaz Hotel, with panormaic views, enjoy this fun Labor Day party while you are 6 stories up in the air. You must be 21, wear your bathing suit and be ready to hear some good music. Tickets available for $10 - 25.

21st Anniversay Labor Day San Diego Cool Car Truck Cycle Expo
September 5, 2011

The expo is at Qualcomm stadium and is spectacular. There will be all kinds of fun, quirky, magnificent vehicles. You can even make some deals if you wish. There will also be trophies and prizes awarded as well as well as all sorts of vendors. The event is free to Active Military.

41st Annual Barona Powwow
September 2-4, 2011

A tribal celebration where dancers compete for a large cash prize. There will be dancers of all ages, a lot of music, singing, handcrafted jewelry and crafts and so much more. A fun way to celebrate and learn. Admission and parking are free. It is held at the Barona Baseball Field which is North of the Barona Resort and Casino on the Barona Indian Reservation.
