Bumbershoot 2011
September 3-5
This is a popular music and art festival in Seattle on Labor Day weekend. Tickets are necessary, $55 for one day or $90 for a three day pass. This 41 year old festival is all about entertainment whether it be a band playing music, spoken word, theater, dance or any other form of artistic expression. This is a family event and there will be endless activities like crafts, vendors, food, merhcandise and so much more.


Blues for Food Fest
September 3, 2011
A great way to spend the day in Magnuson Park on NE 74th Street. A greener more organic way to spend the holiday, as well as cheaper than some other venues. Proceeds go to a local food bank. Kid friendly, wheel chair accessible, and non-smoking. Tickets are between $10- $20. LINE UP


Seattle Seahawks
September 3, 2011
Go cheer your home-town team on when the Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders in a West Coast preseason game. What a fun way to spend your your final "hurrah" of summer. Games are played at Century Link Park.
