I decided to try an array of products, but one that I love the best is the Garnier Fructis XXL Volume Thickening Mousse. Ladies, if you are doubting me, please don't. Today was the first day I had the nerve to try it. How it works is you take a shower. After you get out of your shower and your hair is clean, you gently towel it. Do not use your blow-dryer yet, this will ruin any chance of this working. Then leave your hair a bit damp and take about a half-dollar size squirt of the mousse and gently put it in your hair starting at the root of your hair. I let the mousse sit in my hair for about a minute and then blow-dry on the low setting. Low setting is the best, because it will not shock your hair as much as the hot setting does.
After you are done with the blow-drying, use a light misting of hair spray on your hair. I prefer to use the Garnier Volumizing hair spray, because it works really well with the mousse. However, these products are not cheap, so if you can not afford the hair spray and the mousse, you can always use the cheap dollar store brands like Aqua Net. However, I generally choose to stick with the same array of products, because the performance is much better. Whatever hair spray you do use, remember to use a light mist, because you are not going for the beehive look. All you want is a little lift for you limp locks!
This is the first day in a long time that I've not been a mushroom head. I feel and look great! I know that I can't be down on myself for what happened to my hair in the hair salon, but I sure can try to look better and better! So, ladies, where you fine hair is natural or whether it was because of a hair dye mishap, you too can have the volume that you deserve! Chin up, ladies, fine hair is not all that bad, if you know how to try and style it properly! Good luck and God bless!

Post a CommentI think each subsequent regrowth might fix the damage. I bleached mine with Sun-in as a kid (to look like Vince Neil. Smart, huh?) and it totally ruined it. After a few months, however, it came back WITH A VENGEANCE!!! For a Polack, I got hair like an Italian! Hang in there, little sis!
