Lady Gaga Re-releases "The Fame" Just in Time for "Monster Ball" Tour

Pop star Lady Gaga's rerelease of her hit album The Fame (a two-disc affair entitled The Fame: Monster and including a whopping eight new tracks as well as tracks from releases in Japan and the U.K. - the rumored track listing makes it seem that there will be a total of twenty-five tracks) will be released on November 23rd, only four days before Gaga's "Monster Ball" tour begins. The rereleased album will feature the RedOne produced single "Bad Romance," which debuted at an Alexander McQueen fashion show. Of The Fame: Monster, Gaga said, "...I wrote about everything I didn't write on The Fame... While traveling the world for two years, I've encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record..."

Lady Gaga went on to describe the different "monsters" she has discovered in her travels - her "fear of loneliness" monster, the "fear of death" monster, and so on. Gaga told Rolling Stone recently that she found rereleases "unfair," and that originally her label had only wanted her to release three more songs. The eight new songs is quite a departure from the "only three" - almost a new album's worth of material.

The rumored track listing is as follows:

Disc 1:

1. Bad Romance
2. Alejandro
3. Monster
4. So Happy I Could Die
5. Speechless
6. Dance in the Dark
7. Telephone
8. Teeth

Disc 2:

1. Just Dance featuring Colby O'Donis
2. Lovegame
3. Paparazzi
4. Poker Face
5. Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)
6. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich
7. The Fame
8. Money Honey
9. Starstruck featuring Space Cowboy and Flo Rida
10. Boys Boys Boys
11. Paper Gangsta
12. Brown Eyes
13. I Like It Rough
14. Summerboy
15. Disco Heaven (international bonus track)
16. Again Again (U.K. bonus track)
17. Retro, Dance, Freak (Japanese bonus track)

Gaga originally planned to tour with Kanye West, but the tour was cancelled and now the pop star is on her own with her "Monster Ball" tour. Gaga describes her upcoming 22-date tour as a "multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera'" and plans to do songs from her album and its rerelease during the show. To her followers on Twitter (whom she refers to often as her 'little monsters'), she said, "Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show...You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly." Kid Cudi will be Lady Gaga's opening act.

In other Gaga news, it is rumored that she and Beyoncé will collaborate on a video for Beyoncé's upcoming single "Video Phone." It was mentioned that the security on the set of the video was very tight, but the source said that the fashion would be "insane." What else can we expect from Gaga? Her recent appearance on SNL alongside Madonna and her rather bloody love-it-or-hate-it performance of "Paparazzi" at the MTV Video Music Awards have shocked and surprised many people.

One can only hope she continues to make music that surprises and interests her fans.
