The music world has not seen this much musical sexuality in one sitting since the days of the Material Girl herself? And, of course the days of both Brittany 'I am Slave For You' and Christina Aguilera 'Dirty' girl days. Sexuality barometer in music videos and on stage performance is on over load these days. Especially, when it comes to the latest pop sensations Lady Gaga and Rihanna. Just recently, Rihanna's on stage performance had many wondering if the had been witness to something more pornographic than musically creative. Her 'Te Amo' video takes a new approach and features a female who interacts with the singer in a very provocative and extremely sensual way. The video looks a lot like the titled of her latest album called R rated due to the explicit and suggestive content that pushes the envelopment maybe just a little too far.

In the past, the soulful singer has been noted for a risqué dance or two but the performance threshholds appear to be escalating more and more per concert. Wearing tight leather and mere hip swaying is more recently passed over for more upscale privado and provocative dance moves. In a recent interview and photoshoot, Rihanna revealed that Lady Gaga inspires her. Lady Gaga apparently has also been inspiring Christina Aguilera's recent musical endeavors as seen in the her latest video 'Not Myself Tonight.' Lady Gaga burst on the scene all blazing and bravado from out of nowhere to rise to the top of the musical pinnacle. In the spirit of the every changing Madonna back in her hay day, Lady Gaga has been known to rise eyebrows, turn heads and get folks more than hot under the collar. With fashion sense that borders trashy if not offensive, Lady Gaga is not afraid to re-create the mold that she herself has broken on the way to the top. Prior to the untimely demise of the late great Alexander McQueen, Lady Gaga was seen as his dearest muse.

The two fit together live a glove. His daring and zany fashion styles and Lady Gaga's fashion fearlessness was like a match made in fashion heaven. The lost of such an adored and enormous talent rocked the fashion world to the core. Lady Gaga has bravely carried on the fashion visions she and McQueen shared. Her on stage costumes are some of the most stunning and at the same time shocking attaire in the business. Her onstage performances are out of this world literally. Like a box of chocolates, you really do not know what you are going to get. More recently, controversy has struck the tremendous musical performing singer with the release of her 'Alejandro' video. The risque and bold images depicted a gamut of Catholic themes and symbolism. Lady Gaga attended a Catholic school as a teenager although you would not know it from her on/off stage and public persona years after completing her education at the Catholic school.

Should female artist have to sexy up their concerts and on stage performances to the point of pornographic imagery? And, where do they drawn the line in future?
