Lady Gaga Song, Born This Way, Hits Music Milestone on Billboard Hot 100 Singles
Lady Gaga's Born This Way made music history! The song went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and became the 1,000th top song in the 52 year history of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart.
Born This Way sold 448,000 copies. It also has the third largest selling digital debut of all time. Right Round by Flo Rida beat Gaga's record by selling 636,000 copies in its first week in February 2009. And Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas sold 465,000 copies in its first week in April 2009.
To make this even more impressive, Lady Gaga's Born This Way achieved this music milestone in just three days of release.
"It's a tremendous honor," Gaga tells Billboard.
