21The right thing is to eat no meat or drink no wine [at all], or [do anything else] if it makes your brother stumble or hurts his conscience or offends or weakens him.


I remember my early days of salvation. I was a babe in Christ, yes, but I was trying to dress like a babe, if you know what I mean. I used to go to church with all kinds of cleavage showing. I really didn't know any better. I had no idea that I was causing my brother to stumble. I didn't care. I wanted some attention, and if this was the way to get it, then so be it. It is often said that women don't support each other. Unfortunately, that is even true in the Church. I used to go to a church where the women were vehemently after the young pastor, even after he had been married for a couple of years. (Again, unfortunately, I was one of those women.) Cleavage, both breast and booty could be seen in the Lord's house. I honestly didn't know any better. Any way, trying to seduce another woman's husband put aside for now, the subject is covering up in the house of GOD. And I do emphasize the phrase house of GOD, meaning that if you think that the only pair of eyes on your cleavage belongs to the man sitting two rows behind you, think again. GOD sees everything. I know some women reading this are probably saying, "Well what if she is trying to get a husband? How else is she supposed to attract him"? If a man is only attracted to you because of your cleavage, what are you going to do when another woman's cleavage comes bouncing by? And so many times we think that we aren't doing any harm, but, that targeted man isn't the only one eyeballing your 'breast line.' I don't care who the man is and how anointed he is or claims to be, men are going to be men, and men love breasts. In other words, you could have another woman's husband checking out your boobs when he should only be checking out hers. That is causing him to lust, to stumble. You might say, "That isn't my fault, he should know better." Yes, he should know better, but we are all in the body of Christ, which means, we are family. Your brother could get so wound up by the sight of your decolletage that it could cause problems between he and his wife, which is a form of bringing about discord between brother and sister. GOD hates discord.
Proverbs 6:
16These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

That 'he' could just as well be a 'she.' Marriage is sacred to GOD. HE hates divorce. Woman of GOD, you don't think that GOD would want to have a word with you and your cleavage if the both of you are somewhat responsible for enticing the man in the first place? You say, "Okay, what about the single guy"? Lust is lust. How do you know that is the man of GOD that GOD has selected for you? You don't know; not if you think you have to capture him with your breast. If that man of GOD was to be your husband, believe me, GOD doesn't need your help, nor does HE require the assistance of your cleavage. GOD is GOD. If HE can make the cleavage, HE can have the man of GOD fall in love with you.

22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
It's hard for men (and some women) to flee from youthful lusts if there are a pair of boobs in their face. We are called to serve the Lord with all of our mind, body, soul and spirit. Men of GOD have enough distractions in the world to have to also deal with distractions in the church. GOD's house is supposed to be a sanctuary for those who seek shelter from a cruel world. Long ago, a criminal or a person being persecuted could run inside of the house of GOD and remain in there without the threat of being touched because of the high regard and respect people had for the house of GOD back then. The house of GOD is like a sanctuary for many people. It is supposed to be a place where a person can rest from the assaults of the world. It is supposed to be a place where a person can sit and commune with GOD in peace.

Ladies, put yourselves in someone else's shoes (mainly the wife's.). How would you like it if you were married to your awesome man of GOD, and some young hot thing walked passed wearing a J-lo type outfit-In the house of the Lord-how would you feel? And she wasn't some once in a while visitor, she was a member. And she is younger, firmer and worse-not nearly as pretty as you are. Get my point? No? Well get this: Lust is a serious no-no in the bible. It cost David so many things.
II Samuel 12:10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

11Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

12For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

Oh yes, David ended up being with Bathsheba, but look at what it cost him. The same for you, ladies. You end up being with the 'man of your dreams.' He has even left his wife to be with you. And then what? You find out that he wasn't such a great catch after all. Either he is lousy in bed, his breath stinks-really BADLY, or both. Or he wasn't as wealthy as you had first thought. And now you are stuck, because GOD isn't about to bless something HE didn't approve of in the first place. Essentially ladies, even if the man is single, if he isn't the man of GOD you were meant to be with, you are still doing a disservice to GOD by being with someone that wasn't meant to be yours. You and your catch are basically cheating on your true loves. Hmm. It's a lot to think about. And GOD is always going to be GOD. You may think that you have gotten away with something, but trust, your boobs are still on GOD's radar, and you haven't gotten away with nothing. If you want a husband, check out

Ask GOD to make you a woman like this, and keep the cleavage to yourself.
