Lake Norman, North Carolina Fishing Guides

Web Sites of Some Lake Norman Fishing Guides

Randy Inman
Lake Norman has some nice fishing spots to offer the North Carolina angler, and some great guides as well. In this article I will list some Lake Norman fishing guides and links to their websites. Good luck out there fishing on Norman and remember a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of working!

Capt Gus and the Fishing Pros

Lake Norman Ventures Inc offers Capt. Gus Gustafson the most famous fishing guide on Lake Norman. The guide staff includes Capt. Gus, Maynard, Craig, Mac and Drew, you can visit their website with this link. The webpage allows you to book your fishing trip online as well as offering tips on Lake Norman fishing. Lake Norman Ventures offers trips for bass, catfish, crappie and even bream if you want to bring the kids along. For my article on bream fishing click this link. They can even outfit trips to the North Carolina Mountains for trout fishing.

Capt. Gus is a very well known fisherman around the state of North Carolina. He is often heard giving lectures on fishing at Gander Mountain and has written the book "Fish Tales." Lake Norman Ventures provides the boat, the bait, ice and whatever you need, just show up and fish!

Excellent review. Randy, I'd still like to make plans to get together and fish (your state or mine whichever), but Lake Norman sounds like a good first meeting! Keep me posted!
