Lake Tahoe

The waves
moving slowly
to the shores
from the hills
of Emerald Bay.

I can still touch...

The clear cold water
with my dirty feet
as I walk
on the wet sand
towards the edge.

I can still feel...

The breeze
fusing through my pores
like a dream
provoking my sleep.

I can still smell...

The grilled
juicy chesse burgers,
and the sweet and sour hot dogs
on the surface
of burning wood
surrounded by
fresh pine trees.
