Lancaster Ohio's Fine Hotels

In Lancaster Ohio you will find several options for hotels and lodging. From the trendy chains to small independently ran motels, Lancaster has accommodations to suit your needs and your budget.

When you enter Lancaster from US Highway 33 which turns into Memorial Drive while in the city, you will find the more popular hotels and motels. The Holiday Inn Express is very popular, it is easy to access via Memorial Drive and has around one hundred rooms or so. The hotel offers free fresh baked cinnamon rolls to guests as well as other popular ammenitites such as an indoor pool, fitness room, and free coffee in the lobby. The Holiday Inn Express will cost you around one hundred dollars a night, the rooms are fairly handsomely appointed, and pretty clean also.

Next door you will find the Amerihost, or Baymont Inn and Suites as it is now called. Many locals still call it the Amerihost, so keep this in mind to avoid any confusion. If you forget, you might end up driving about aimlessly looking for a hotel that no longer exists. The Baymont is nice, it has an indoor pool, a fitness room, sauna and in room coffee to name a few. The rooms are priced around ninety dollars a night, the rooms are decorated tastefully and very clean.

Across from The Baymont Inn and suites, and The Holiday Inn Express, on Memorial Drive is where you will find the best hotel in Lancaster. The Hampton Inn. This hotel is exceptional in every way. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond what is expected of them. The hot tubs are inviting, the indoor pool is gorgeous, and the sauna and gym are extremely nice and well stocked. The rooms are a little more expensive, at about one hundred and ten dollars per night . In my opinion it is well worth the extra money to stay at this luxurious hotel that features free WI fi access and a lovely free breakfast. I loved that they offer free juice and cappuccino in addition to the standard in lobby coffee.

Lancaster Ohio has its fair share of less glamorous accommodations including the Lancaster Inn that features a restaurant in the motel, as well as several independently owned and operated motels that are just a notch above a hole in the wall.

If you are looking for a nice clean room, any of the three hotels I mentioned earlier are worth checking into. They will cost a little more than the independently owned and operated motels, but it is well worth the additional cost for a more luxurious and clean room.
