Lancaster PA's Best Fireworks & 4th of July Celebration: Lititz Springs Park, 2009 & Schedule of Events

Lititz PA: Oldest Continuous 4th of July Celebration in the Nation

Artisttia Yarns
Lititz is a beautiful historic town, nestled in the heartland of Pennsylvania's Lancaster Dutch County. The area is surrounded by farmland. Long homes, Amish buggies, stone mills, and covered bridges dot the landscape. It is hard to believe this gem of a town is located just 60 miles west of Philadelphia.

The town was established by the Moravian Church, which still sits prominently east of the town square. Many of the older houses in the area have been restored adding to the town's unique appeal. Lititz is home to the Wilbur Chocolate Factory and the Sturgis Pretzel House. On the square is the General Sutter Inn which offers four star cuisine; in nice weather, open air dining is offered in the courtyard.

While visiting our town, do stop in and visit Cafe Chocolate too.One of the nicest features of the town is the seven-acre park owned and operated by the towns churches, Lititz Springs Park. The town boasts as having the oldest continuous 4th of July Celebration in the US. For 2009 as is our towns tradition, the 4th of July Celebrations shall continue in the Lititz Springs Park.
