Lance Armstrong: New Pregnancy and Baby on the Way with Natural Conception

Did His New Girlfriend Really Conceive Naturally or Did She Stray?

Lance Armstrong has a new baby and not with ex-wife Kristin but with new girlfriend Anna Hansen.

When I first learned this news, I was a little taken aback. I recently read Lance Armstrong's book It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life. In the book he talks about his experience with this then wife Kristin and his experience where he banked sperm before undergoing any cancer treatments. Lance Armstrong is a testicular cancer survivor and spent his middle and late twenties getting treated for cancer and trying to battle back emotionally.

I was surprised to learn of Lance Armstrong's divorce to Kristin Richard. She went through a lot to conceive their 3 children they had together. She had to undergo in vitro fertilization which was very difficult for her. She also fell in love with and married Lance Armstrong. He had some hard times when they were together because he was still recovering from cancer and getting back into shape. In addition, he was scared the cancer would come and he would die. He eventually fought through it and is now a big time cancer awareness organizer with his group Livestrong.

I question whether or not Lance Armstrong really was able to conceive this baby naturally with Anna Hansen. I think that maybe she got pregnant with somebody else and did not tell Lance. This is all speculation and I could be way wrong about this. However, I think a paternity test should be done on the child once it is born which is expected to be sometime in June 2009. As a testicular cancer survivor, Lance Armstrong lost one of his balls. He had to have one of his testicles removed.

I am sure he engaged in sexual relations with his ex-wife, but it seems like all of her pregnancies were not conceived naturally. It would be sad to learn that Lance Armstrong's girlfriend cheated on him, but this may be the case. It would be nice if some doctors could perhaps shed some more light on this issue and explain how Lance could still father a child in the fashion that nature provided us with. It may be that he can still use his one ball to do such a task, however as bizarre and strange this may sound, many men are left in such circumstances. Even so, it is great to hear that Lance Armstrong is back in the news and plans to again compete in the Tour de France. He will be competing in the Tour de France next year which is slated to begin on July 4, 2009.
