Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers

Consumer Product Review

Thomas J McCabe

Recently, I've been purchasing and eating multi - packs of Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers that I buy at CVS Pharmacy. These four packs of orange colored cheese / peanut butter crackers are very convenient and the crackers taste quite good.

Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is an article which reviews and examines Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers.

Size
The net weight of the six package container of Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers is six ounces (170 grams). The package holds six smaller packages of cheese peanut butter crackers, each of which contains four cracker sandwiches.

Price
The regular retail price charged for one six package container of Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers at Hartford, Connecticut area food retailers varies. At many stores, the price ranges between $1.29 and $1.49, but CVS Pharmacies have recently been selling the crackers for $1 per package. All of these prices seem reasonable to me. Even at $1.49 per package, the price per four pack of these cracker sandwiches works out to roughly $0.25c.

Texture / Consistency
These peanut butter / cheese cracker sandwiches possess a pleasing texture that makes me want to eat more of them once I've started. The cracker sandwiches seem to be a little bit softer in texture than the regular style Lance peanut butter crackers, but they are still firmly - constructed.

While some varieties of cheese peanut butter crackers seem to contain more cheese than peanut butter, that is not the case with Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers. These cracker sandwiches feature a nice balance of cheese and peanut butter, offering a pleasant mouth feel.

Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers contain 150 calories, with 80 calories from fat, per one four cracker package serving. These crackers also contain 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams trans fat, 8 grams total fat, 0 mg of cholesterol, 230 mg of sodium, 15 grams total carbohydrates, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 2 grams of sugars and 4 grams of protein, per one four cracker package serving.

Taste / Flavor
To be honest, when I recently purchased a multi pack of Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers at CVS Pharmacy, it was only because the store was sold out of the regular style Lance peanut butter crackers.

For many years, I didn't purchase any orange colored cheese / peanut crackers because I thought they would taste too cheesy. I think I was scared of the strange orange hue, also. That is simply not the case with these cracker sandwiches. These cracker sandwiches feature an appealing ratio of cheese to peanut butter. The crackers are lightly - salted and once I start eating them, it's hard to stop.

Quite often, I spread a little bit of peanut butter on these cracker sandwiches and they taste very good. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of 8.75.

Packaging
Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers are packaged in a bright orange, blue and white plastic wrapper. Inside the wrapper, the cracker sandwiches are further packaged in clear plastic wrappers, four sandwiches to a pack.

The package is easy to open and the rear label lists all pertinent nutritional and ingredient information.

Overall Rating
Peanut butter crackers are one of the food items that I consume most often. On a regular basis, I purchase and eat several different brands of these packaged crackers. Usually, the brand I purchase is the one that is on sale. After purchasing this item more than once now, I am pleased to say that these crackers taste great, they are well - textured and their price is usually very reasonable. Lance Toast Chee Peanut Butter Crackers are highly recommended by this food writer.
