Land Peel Flexible Mat: Turn Your Mat into a Table, Chair, Bed

Mottor
Consumers in the United States are spoiled when it comes to furniture. We seem to think that owning furniture is an absolute necessity and tend to forget that sitting on the floor is a great alternative as well. A lot of people from other countries still choose the floor as an option to sit on, sleep, and even eat food off (out of a bowl or plate of course). The Land Peel is something they will certainly enjoy and might actually get us back on the floor.

From an initial perspective the Land Peel looks like your basic mat. Looking down upon it you see that it is of basic gray color. However, this is not your ordinary mat. Believe it or not this mat has the ability to fold in special ways that allow you to create tables, seats, and even a place to sleep on. Sounds pretty unreal right? The Land Peel is no joke and might be one of the coolest inventions I have seen this decade.

The mat is actually a large group of folded tiles specially designed to appear as if they are together. Once you take one of the tiles and fold it into the shape that you want it to be, a unknown type of material allows it to stay in one position. The amazing part is that it will stay in that position until you fold it back the way in which you folded it. Also, do not worry about it collapsing on you because it is very sturdy as well.

Another cool thing is that the reverse side of the gray mate is actually some pretty cool colors. The other side of the mat is a sleek white color with other color designs mixed in. This ensures you that each piece of the mat promises to be a bit different. Your living room could look empty but can easily convert into just about any type of basic furniture that you need. Fold the mat into a table, bed, or chair. The Land Peel does it all.

You can check out the picture I have attached to gain a better understanding of what the Land Peel looks like. Once you have looked at it I promise your excitement might grow as high as mine. This is a clever concept and I am interested in finding out what type of material is being used to make it so sturdy and flexible at the same time. Once I have more information on this amazing invention I will make sure to pass it along in the comment section of this site.
