Lansing Community College: A Review

Lansing Community College: An Institution in Lansing, Michigan

For any student, choosing the right college to attend is a major decision. Often a community college is your best choice, especially if you are working full time, or can't afford to attend a major institution. If you keep your grades up, the costs of college will go down via the scholarship. I currently receive the Pell Grant, which pays for all my school. It wouldn't do the same for a four year institution, as the prices are a high premium, but in the future it will still help me make tuition payments. In the spirit of that, I decided to write a formal review of a college I have been attending for many years. For the record, Lansing Community College is located in Lansing, Michigan.

Lansing Community College is one of the better institutions in the Michigan area. Michigan is known for having the major colleges of Michigan and Michigan State, but often Lansing Community College doesn't get the same recognition, and it deserves it.

What makes the college a superior experience? The teachers are of a high quality, the classes are small, and the tuition is reasonable. If you have to choose a career, counselors can help you. If you know what career you want, Lansing Community College can be an important stepping stone in getting that degree.

The courses can vary, including such popular fields as liberal arts (writing, painting, history, literature), nursing, legal degrees, building trades, and even teaching. While not everything is covered, Lansing Community College does have many of the basics.

There are also plenty of jobs available at this institution. I work for a newspaper, but there are also jobs as cash clerks or helping new students. The work is valuable experience, and it's easy to get to your classes after you work.

What I value most in this college is the fact that it has such a wide range of extracurricular events; there are plenty of plays and music, as well poetry readings (like to celebrate Black History Month). The students are from a wide range of ethnic groups, which provides experience in dealing with other cultures. Lansing Community College is located in Lansing, Michigan, near the Michigan capital. It is a good experience for any prospective students of any major, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you're looking to move into the Michigan area, try Lansing, as the college here is one of quality, and there is always plenty of events in the downtown area.
