This article lists the largest companies in the world ranked by FY 2010 revenues, the mathematical product of price and sales commonly referred to as the "top line" or "gross income." These FY 2010 revenue rankings include each company's sector, industry, headquarter location, and stock symbol.

Among the world's twenty-five largest companies ranked by revenues, nine are headquartered in the United States, four in France, three in China, two each in Germany, Italy, Japan, and the Netherlands, and one in the United Kingdom. These twenty-five companies comprise seven sectors and ten different industries.

    I was surprised to see that Siemens didn't make the list - I used to work for them (they own many companies : OSRAM Sylvania Lighting, Siemens Medical, etc.) Interesting list, cheers :)

    Wow, I didn't think Shell would rank so high. I expected GE to be higher too. I wonder how these figures will look in a few years, depending on the performance of hybrid/electric cars.
