Larkspur Landing in Folsom Offers a Great Place to Stay in the Sacramento Area

Sacramento is the capital of one of the largest and wealthiest states in the country. Because Sacramento is the capital lots of visitors come to Sacramento. Lots of business is also done in Sacramento as well. Unfortunately the city of Sacramento is not the nicest place to stay so if you are coming to Sacramento you probably are going to want to stay outside of the city. Fortunately there are plenty of nice places to stay that are nearby. One city that is in Sacramento county and is known for being a good area is Folsom. If you want to stay near Sacramento Folsom is a good choice. If you want to stay in Folsom then Larkspur Landing is going to be a good choice for you to stay while in Folsom.

Larkspur Landing is located at 121 Iron Point Road in Folsom California. While Folsom is a high class city and expensive to live in staying in Folsom is not going to set you back as much as it would if you lived here full time. The Larkspur landing is a very nice hotel but it charges only moderate prices.

Many nice hotels charge you for the Internet but Larkspur Landing offers all guests free wi-fi. The wi-fi is great for people coming to town for work in Sacramento. Besides offering free wi-fi Larkspur Landing also offers free breakfast. Besides the free breakfast they also bake free cookies daily as well.

The rooms are standard hotel room size. The bathrooms are also pretty standard. The rooms have large flat screen TVs. The rooms also include a refrigerator which is larger then most hotels offer.

What really sets Larkspur Landing apart in my opinion is the in room kitchen. The rooms includes a full size refrigerator. There is a microwave, sink, and dishes. This is probably over kill since you are unlikely to be staying here to long but this would be great for some place like Disneyland where you could make your own food in the room and save lots of money.

The one thing that I do not like about Larkspur Landing is the location. The location is close to the freeway so it is easy to find. It is not so close that you will hear the cars driving by all the time though. What it is to close to is all the shopping in town. Larkspur Landing is across the street from the outlets. The outlets are premium outlets which means they are overpriced and you will pay mall prices instead of traditional outlet prices but what do you expect from Folsom. The parking used to be an issue since it is in the same center as the movie theater but no one in Folsom goes to that theater anymore so there is plenty of parking now.

One good thing about the location is that it is in walking distance of the light rail so if you are not having a meeting in the hotel but are going to Sacramento you can take the light rail down to save money and the hassle of trying to figure out how to drive downtown in Sacramento.

Overall the Larkspur Landing is a good deal. You get a nice rooms with many nice amenities, great service, and in a decent location for a low price. If you are staying in the Sacramento or Folsom area then I would recommend a stay at Larkspur Landing.
