Larry Birkhead to Start Making Transition with Daughter Dannielynn Tonight
When news broke that Larry Birkhead was indeed the biological father of Dannielynn, Howard K. Stern told the awaiting press outside the courtroom that he will not go against any custody attempts and that Larry Birkhead is more than welcome to come to his home to start the adjustment process between him and his daughter.
TMZ.com is reporting that Larry Birkhead plans to take Howard K. Stern up on that offer. He told TMZ directly that he will be calling Howard within the next hour to arrange for him to come over tonight.
According to Ron Rale, a longtime friend and also lawyer for Howard K. Stern, Howard doesn't mind at all - and has actually been calling Larry's hotel room since the court dismissed to arrange for him to come over tonight and to bring his family.
"Howard has already called Larry's hotel twice since the hearing to ask him to come over tonight, but hasn't been able reach him. Howard not only wants Larry, but Larry's entire family that is in the Bahamas to come over this evening to start getting to know Dannielynn."
Ron Rale also stated that Howard K. Stern has been on the phone talking to several experts regarding the best way to make the transition. He would like to ensure that the process goes easy for Dannielynn. Ron stated that it would probably take between 2 to 4 weeks before Dannielynn would be ready to move into the custody of Larry Birkhead.
Dannielynn is the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith and has been the subject of a lengthy paternity battle. Dannielynn stands to inherit close to $500 million dollars from a lawsuit involving the inheritance from her mother's former husband, J. Howard Marshall.

Post a CommentI just hope the baby doesn't suffer too much with this transation. Yes, Larry deserves to have his daughter and his daughter deserves to live with her real father. Yet, it can't be ignored that this poor child has went through a lot in her short life, all ready.

How is it Howard Stern's home? The man from one of the Carolinas claims it is his,and not Anna's (G. Ben-). It certainly isn't Mr. Stern's home according to a man speaking on court TV.
I have to say: I always thought Birkhead came across as very sincere when talking about his daughter. That baby is already one of the most famous people in the world and she's still an infant. Amazing.
I'm so happy Larry is the daddy! and also that both men care most about making the transition easy of Dannielynn :)
