Dallas Reunion Event to Be Held at Southfork Ranch in November

Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and many other members of the Dallas cast will be returning to Southfork Ranch, much to the delight of fans, reports the Associated Press. Hagman, who played the infamous J.R. Ewing, is now 76. Dallas, a prime time soap opera, which aired from 1978-1991, is probably best known for the cliffhanger in the 1979-1980 season. Americans all weighed in on the "Who shot J.R?" cliffhanger. Ultimately, it was revealed that J.R. was shot by his sister-in-law, Kristin. Dallas was also known for its energetic cat fights between female characters.

Even though Dallas has been off air for nearly two decades, Dallas still has an active fan base. The Dallas reunion is scheduled for November 8 and tickets to the event go on sale on August 22. Fans can expect a price tag for the event between $100 and $1,000. The Dallas reunion will even include a question and answer time with cast members such as Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy, as well as a concert and fireworks.

I watched that show religiously but I can't imagine going to a reunion.

I remember the Who Shot J.R. ? jeans -- I think I wanted a pair and they were some obscene price and then like most fads quickly became uncool. :-)

I must confess that I was very young when Dallas was first shown on TV...I never, ever liked the show. But I do like your article!! :)

That should be interesting...last time I saw Hagman and Duffy on TV, I was sad at how old they looked...and then I remembered - I'm 20 something years older too!!!
