Great Mexican Food in Denver

Las Delicias Restaurant, located at 4301 E Kentucky Ave in Glendale Colorado is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Denver metro area. The very amicable service begins with warm chips and salsa promptly brought to your table. This is some of the best house salsa in town, delivering a mild kick with tons of flavor.
The menu is the most encompassing I have ever seen for a Mexican food restaurant, with offerings from all Mexican regions, north, south, east, west and central. You will find great steaks, fish, fajitas and even a delicious bacon cheeseburger.

You're not going to find a mariachi band playing here every night but the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A jukebox is frequently playing corridos or rancheras, popular styles of music in Mexico. The bar also serves up a great variety of drinks including some very special margaritas. There is a nice patio for summer dining though it only offers a nice view of the parking lot.

The downside of the experience is that as delicious as the food is, it is unhealthy. They make no apologies for the price paid for great taste so if you are counting calories this is probably a place you should avoid. You won't see a decent salad or low fat option on their menu.
You should definitely eat at Las Delicias at least once but I have to warn you that you will most likely find yourself visiting again and again.

I agree that the food is good quality. I have a complaint about their service.

On a recent visit I was told that they would not do a simple service of putting a burrito from my meal on a separate plate for my 1 year old grand daughter. I was told that I had to order a separate ale carte burrito. I consider this an insult to family's this simple request would cost them nothing accept my patronage.

I would have to agree with Miguel, this is a great place to eat. I usually go to the one off 19th and Pennsylvania.
